We were so excited for our good friends, Carrie and Cesar's wedding. Cesar is one of our best friends from college so you know there was no way I'd miss his important day. You see, Cesar was Bryan's groomsman at our destination wedding in Jamaica. So it was fitting that now that it's Cesar's turn to get married that Bryan is his groomsman at his destination wedding in Virginia Beach, VA. The whole weekend was so much fun. It was practically a college reunion for us because we all had mutual college friends. It was great to catch up with everyone. On Thursday night, I got to hang out with all the girls for Carrie's Bachelorette Party which was super fun! I knew we were going to have an awesome time at the reception because these girls love to dance! We got to meet everyone else on Friday at their carefree Rehearsal at the yummy Rehearsal dinner at Mahi Mahs. They decided to get married at First Landing State Park, which was an awesome beach location for them. Here are some of my favorites from the weekend.
This was a gift for the groomsmen. Way cool!
It started to rain about 30 minutes before the ceremony, but it quickly passed right before Carrie had to walk down the aisle. It was such a perfect day and the wedding was so personal. They incorporated elements from both their Polish and Filipino cultures.
You know I am such a softie when it comes to adorable kids!
Aren't they just the cutest?
Taking a moment after the ceremony together, very sweet.
I love the color in this photo! This photo makes me smile :)
I had the hardest time shooting this wedding because I was so close to the couple. It was so touching to see how emotional everyone was that day and easy to get caught up in the emotions. I definitely shed my fair share of tears that day. Here's a sweet moment between the groom and his sister.
Ahh, the groomsmen doing the "Oh What a Feeling" a la the old Toyota ad or Anchorman jump? Your call.
She was so beautiful and her dress was very unique.
Love the details: funky flip-flop placecards.
These two could not take their eyes off each other during their first dance.
Check out their awesome beachy cake!
Another moment that brought tears to many eyes, Cesar surprised Carrie by serenading her to Lone Star's "Amazed". I know, say it with me, "Awwww".
Another cool touch, they had glow sticks! It created some great effects on the dance floor!
Look at the bride go!
I think the glow sticks are a hit!
Congrats Cesar & Carrie! We are so happy for you two. We wish you both all the happiness in the world! Love you guys!
